Curfew In Effect -Monday, June 1-Tuesday, June 2, 6 p.m.-6 a.m.

Please be aware that the County of Los Angeles has ordered another curfew to be in place from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. tonight into tomorrow morning.

This is in response to violence surrounding protests over the death of George Floyd, who died in the custody of Minneapolis police.

Anthony Davis, author and composer of "The Central Park 5," commissioned by Long Beach Opera and which had some performances at San Pedro's Warner Grand Theatre, won the Pulitzer Prize in Music for 2020.

Two Grab-and-Go Drive Up Locations Offering Free Food During Pandemic

There are two Grab-and-Go locations offering free food for students in San Pedro.

Dana Middle School
1501 S. Cabrillo Avenue, San Pedro

Open from 8 a.m.-11 a.m. Monday-Friday offering breakfast and lunch

The Dana Middle School location serves both students and senior citizens

Boys & Girls Club
100 W. 5th Street, San Pedro Waterfront

Open from Noon-1:30 p.m. Monday-Friday offering lunch and snack

 

Commuter Express 142 and Dash Bus Service Being Temporarily Reduced

The LA Department of Transportation's Commuter Express Route 142 service to Long Beach and DASH bus service around San Pedro will be temporarily reduced beginning Thursday, April 2.

Route 142 will operate every half hour between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. both to and from San Pedro and the Long Beach Transit Gallery.

San Pedro DASH routes will operate Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and  Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Visitor Center Closed Through June 15

The San Pedro Visitor Information Center will be closed through June 15 in response to the current coronavirus/COVID-19 public health emergency and the orders of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and Los Angeles mayor.

Visit San Pedro continues to operate remotely.
