The Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro is a great place to begin or end your cruise (and it’s a fun, interesting, and exciting port of call, too).
There are plenty of activities to do before and after a cruise, so it’s a good idea to plan on a few extra days before or after. (And if you’re traveling to join a cruise, planning to arrive a day or more early just makes good sense—you don’t have to worry about travel delays and you can begin your voyage rested.)
For those driving in, the local hotels offer economical park and cruise offers that allow you to park your car at the hotel for no additional cost for the duration of your cruise and stay a night or more before and/or after your cruise.
